Lebanon’s Grand Cinemas launches ‘Let’s Popcorn’

The first of its kind healthy gourmet popcorn store in Lebanon

Grand Cinemas, the leading cinema chain in Lebanon and the Levant, and its sister company, ‘Let’s Popcorn,’ launched Lebanon’s first gourmet, air popcorn pop up store, ‘Let’s Popcorn,’ at Grand Cinemas in ABC Mall, Dbayeh, on April 8, 2015.

Locally prepared in a secret premium recipe, and offering a savory taste of popcorn kernels, all seven available flavors, varying from Cookies & Cream to Mixed nuts, Salt & Vinegar and Rosewater are air popped and oil free, thus making it a healthy yet delicious treat for everyone.

“As Lebanon has been tremendously following the wave of gourmet food, and as the popcorn category continues to boom, we thought it was time to introduce a new way to delight Lebanese customers with a delicious, and guilt-free snack to enjoy,” said Jean Ramia, Co-owner at Selim Ramia & Co, the mother company of Grand Cinemas, adding that “In the past decade, Grand Cinemas has been a leader in its field and giving the public what they truly deserve, innovation.”

Attending the launch of the “Let’s Popcorn” pop up store were many Lebanese top-notch figures, dealers and media representatives who also enjoyed the Avant-premiere of the romantic film, “The Longest Ride,” which explores the challenges and rewards of enduring love, based on the bestselling novel by the renowned writer and storyteller, Nicholas Sparks.

Taking gourmet popcorn to another level, “Let’s Popcorn” will not only be available through the store as well as ABC mall and Grand Cinemas’ F&B section but also, at a later stage, in supermarkets, restaurants and birthday parties, reflecting Grand Cinemas’ reputation for offering fun, everyday treats with a twist. Successful in Kuwait and Qatar, “Let’s Popcorn” has become a lifestyle item, merging original taste with innovative products.
